Unverified experiment. The original competition gate failed because several specialist sites already covered the rune tree.
Formation bottleneck
If a single active hero cannot cover damage, survival, and sustain, community guides commonly direct early spending toward additional formation capacity. Confirm the route and cost on your tree before committing.
Survival or clear-speed bottleneck
- Repeated deaths point toward broad survival or party-structure value.
- Safe but slow clears point toward damage, experience, or scaling value.
- Do not interpret one failed stage as proof that one named rune is always best.
- Re-run the same stage after a purchase to compare the actual result.
Idle-friction bottleneck
If chests, storage, or short offline value stops the idle loop, inspect quality-of-life branches. Community guides often value these highly, but the current client is the authority for what each node actually unlocks.
Record a minimal result
Note the stage, party, failure mode, chosen node, and whether the next comparable run improved. This is more reliable than copying a tier list that used a different patch or account state.
